Mark Haig worked within NHS Public Health for 16 years before setting up his own company Haig Associates Ltd that worked with a range of public, private and volunatry organisations in the area of public health.
Examples include developing legacy programmes for the Commonwealth Games 2002 and also the Women’s European Football Championships in 2005.
Mark was also a Director of Healthworks a company specialising in workplace health and wellbeing, before being appointed Head of Operations for Liverpool FC Foundation where he took a particular interest in the development of specific programmes on professional sport and community health, men’s health and military veterans.
Mark is also a Trustee of North West Cancer Research.
Mark is a fan of Liverpool FC, a keen cyclist and regularly gets taken for walks by his dog Archie.
