Our collaborative engages with local stakeholders and communities to understand their needs within the local context. We incorporate health intelligence data with benchmarking against comparator areas and review published evidence to identify the most appropriate and cost effective solutions to address gaps in service provision.
Case Study
London Borough of Bexley JSNA
We conducted a refresh and redesign of the JSNA for the London Borough of Bexley with a focus across all public health domains. This included detailed analysis of public health data across the national, London region and local data. In compiling the analysis we set recommendations for each public health domain to be used by local commissioners and service providers to develop and evaluate their services.
Case Study
Bexley Mental Health Needs Assessment
Following completion of the JSNA, the Bexley Health and Wellbeing Board agreed to adopt a new health priority for the borough – The Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing of Children and Young People. The local authority commissioned Mike to conduct the Needs Assessment for this work and develop an implementation plan for the findings of the assessment. This comprehensive need assessment delivered a systematic approach for reviewing the health, social care and well-being issues facing the population, leading to agreed priorities and resource allocations to improve health and well-being and reduce inequalities.
