Outcome Planning

Progress Health Partnerships believe that all programmes should be outcome driven. It is critical that these outcomes are explicit from the very outset of a programme.

We work with organisations to developed outcomes frameworks to help partners clarify the links between the local context in which a programme is operating, the activities undertaken by the programme and the shared outcomes they are working with partners to achieve.

Our work is designed to help organisations develop an outcomes-focused approach to programmes and enable systematic evaluation moving forwards.

We also deliver training in the development and use of logic models to build internal capacity within organisations.

Progress Health Partnerships worked alongside Cavill Associates to develop and outcome and evaluation framework for Tower Hamlets Public Health Programmes. the work involved detailed analysis of service provision within the local context and the development of a borough wide logic model to highlight the planned impact and outcome across the breadth of services. Training was then provided across departments to up-skill council teams to develop service specific logic models.

Aston Villa Foundation

Case Study

Aston Villa Foundation

Progress Health Partnerships worked with Aston Villa Foundation in the development of an Outcomes Framework for the whole organisation. The resulting framework ensured that the Foundation are able to demonstrate the difference it and the programmes it delivers makes, and its long-term value, both for the participants who use them and for the local community as a whole.

In developing the Outcomes Framework we were able to help to address the key challenges in identifying and measuring impact across the Foundations programmes, strengthening and creating greater awareness of the evidence base and leading to greater coherence in language across stakeholders.
