Greater London Authority – Healthy Workplace Charter EvaluationDate Posted: 08/08/2016 | Posted In: Programme Delivery
Progress Health Partnerships are working with Cavill Associates to independently evaluate the London Healthy Workplace Charter, a free self-assessment tool which recognises and rewards employers for investing in workplace health and wellbeing.
The Charter which was launched in 2012 is centrally coordinated by the Greater London Authority with support from Public Health England (London). It is delivered through borough workplace health leads that engage local employers with the programme and support them through the accreditation process. The overall aim of the London Healthy Workplace Charter is to support and incentivise employers to take action on workplace health and wellbeing at a regional and local level.
This overall objective of our evaluation is to assess whether the model used by the London Healthy Workplace Charter is effective in increasing investment by employers in employee health.
